Our Primary had a "drive-in" movie for a summer activity at the chapel. Little D made his own car to go to the show. :)

"Joy in the Morning"

Happy Easter!! I love this time of the year: the spring weather, the flowers, and especially what Easter is all about..the resurrection of our Savior and the hope the Atonement gives to every person on this earth. "Joy in the Morning" by Natalie Sleeth is my favorite Easter hymn. And Elder Wirthlin's talk "Sunday Will Come" is my favorite Easter talk that has helped me through many of my trials.

I hope you feel the Savior's love in your life.
Found all the eggs
This is what they gave me for a picture. Sigh! I just love them...

No more wisdom

My dear sweet Levi got his wisdom teeth out today.  It's what every sophomore should do at the end of their spring break.  Right? ;)
We got reinforcements from our neighbor, Karen, who is an expert at post-wisdom teeth surgery treatments.

Alive and Happy

Oh my's already mid-March and it's my first post of the year. So took over and the blog slipped through the cracks. But....we're alive and well.

Dhiren is having great fun in preschool.  He knows his alphabet well and knows most of the sounds for the letters.  He loves playing with friends and still loves to run and run and run....
Dhiren loves his bowtie...
Levi has been super busy this year with school.  His classes are demanding, but rewarding. He also started an internship as a dental assistant our Stonehaven Dental.  He's loving his experience and has a few weeks left before he hopes to get hired on as a dental assistant.

Marc is crazy busy with work, church, and Haiti.  Nothing much has changed there.... He's happy and enjoying everything.

Paka is normal busy running everyone around and making sure everyone's happy.
Having a great time...

Happy Love Day

Dhiren was so excited to give valentines out at preschool. He wrote his name on each one ALL by himself. Such a big boy! :D

Funny thing here...Marc's on a war against sweets in our home because of my addiction to anything deliciously sweet. :) But, here he gives me a box of chocolate for Valentine's. Really? Love you, honey!

Sweet 16

Levi is 16!!!! Seriously..that went by fast. :)

We just had a simple celebration topped off with yummy chocolate trifle. And later on had a laser tag party some buddies.

I'm so grateful for this young man! I couldn't imagine my life without him. Love you, Levi!

3 x 4 = 12

It's been 12 years, 2 sons, many happy memories and a few bonding and strengthening experiences.

Marc and I spent a night in Midway - a little honeymoon, as my mom called it - interrupted by Marc's horrible tooth ache.  We had to find an open drugstore at midnight.  What a story....the day that we could sleep in and have no interruptions from our boys, we get to stay awake because of a tooth ache. Ayayay!

We went out to dinner with grandma & grandpa and the kids.  We have the same anniversary..isn't that fun?

Sharing our anniversary with grandma and grandpa. 12 years vs. 41 years

Preschool Christmas Program

It was a night of brilliance and cuteness.  These preschoolers were so cute...I couldn't stand it. They sang many songs with lots of props.
This was the best picture of Dhiren before the program...he was just too excited and couldn't sit still for a picture. Euy!
They also had to say a part.  Dhiren's part was:
A kind innkeeper
had no room to spare,
Except a little stable
he was willing to share.
He said it all by himself and is such a big boy.
Dhiren saying his part...fifth one from the left.
Grandma and grandpa were so happy to be there. They reminisced  about Marc when he was a 4 year old.
Family time...

Happy Boo Day!

This year, Dhiren actually knew what he wanted to be. Since the beginning of October, they've been talking about Halloween at preschool and he said that he wanted to be a ghost. Well, being the awesome mom I am, I took him to the store to pick out a costume: pirate, power ranger, army guy, swat guy...all sorts of guys.

He immediately said that he wanted to be a pirate..the costume was "sick" (that's what Levi would say) had a sword, pretend boot on the pants, faux ripped shirt.  It's totally "sick"!

Apparently the little dude really wanted to be a ghost and just wanted the pirate costume to have the awesome sword. Ugh! Seriously? But he turned out to be the cutest ghost ever...he's a happy silly ghost...not a scary one. (Dhiren wanted to make sure of that.)

Dhiren also had Halloween caroling at preschool with Ms. Roxi. So much fun! Dhiren loves to go to preschool.
